Who the account is for
An account belongs to an adult — a parent, a guardian or a teacher. Children read through their own PIN door and never create accounts themselves.
Using Hikaya
Plain language, no lawyers. These are the terms you agree to when you create an account.
What the stories are
Stories, pictures and narration are made by AI from what you tell us. They are for your own family's reading, and they stay yours.
Keeping it kind
Please don't use Hikaya to make anything that would frighten or harm a child. We may close an account that does.
No promises we can't keep
AI makes mistakes. Read a new story before your child does, and tell us when something is wrong so we can put it right.
